Or how about the tour they did around 1980 where they kept the costs down
by sleeping in a tent in local parks.
They played Paisley's Bungalow Bar and all that you needed to get entry
into the gig was a copy of the current single "DK50-80".
Great idea but still failed to make the song enter the charts.
Good luck to everyone doing the 50 years shows, its now more than a month
since we finished our 78 hour marathon and i'm still recovering!!!

Another thing we did was to get "local rock hero" John
Otway along to our > outside broadcast trailer on the first day of our
auction. John sang > "Bunsen burner" live and then auctioned a
pair of tickets and backstage pass > to his sell-out concert in
Aylesbury.
